A Message from the Vice Principal

Welcome back for the 2019-2020 school year!  I am excited to begin my second year as Vice Principal here at Memorial.  This will be my 18th year in education.  For 16 years, I had the privilege of serving as our school Physical Education & Health teacher, Athletic Director, and coach. I look forward to working collaboratively with our school staff, students, families, and the Memorial School community to provide the best educational experience for our students so that they can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

My focus is to continue to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that is safe and respectable, in order for your child to receive the best possible academic instruction.  Our faculty and staff, as well as our support staff, are committed to providing a rigorous and enriching school experience both in our classrooms, along with special events, extracurricular clubs, and athletic teams that encourage our Bulldogs to be involved and stay connected.

In an effort to continue to improve our attendance rates and eliminate late arrivals of students in the morning, we will continure to implement our successful attendance incentive program that we started last school year.  To add to our program, we are also planning to create a Bulldogs of the Month recognition to the class with the best monthly attendance throughout the year.

I also encourage our parents and community members join us throughout the year at school activities and events whenever possible.  At Memorial School, we value your involvement and support in your child’s education.  Parental participation is vital to the success of your child during their elementary and middle school years.  Please know that we highly value the home/school connection and should the need arise, feel free to contact me.  My door is always open.

Let's make this a great 2019-2020 school year!  Go Bulldogs!!
